Curtain Call Productions

The University of Guelph student-run theatre company that puts on broadway length musicals every year
We would like to acknowledge that this sacred land on which we gather is the traditional territory and home of many First Nations, Inuit and Métis people. In particular, we reside on the traditional, unheeded, and treaty lands of the Dish with One Spoon territory, the treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Between the Lakes Purchase (Treaty 3). As a community of students and artists, we must be mindful of our collective role of stewards of the land and strive to build awareness of present-day Indigenous culture in our community.
Presenting Anastasia on March 20, 21 & 22
We began as a student company in 1957 as part of College Royal. The company performed self-written plays based on events that occurred on campus or spoofs of everyday campus life. In 1993, we decided to try our hand at a full Broadway musical production thanks to financing from College Royal and some of the University’s colleges. From there we grew massively over the years in size and reputation, producing more ambitious performances with time.
Curtain Call Productions (CCP) is a registered club under the Central Student Association at the University of Guelph. Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for the community and University members to develop their artistic talents through musical theatre and by doing so foster or enhance an appreciation for the arts. CCP membership is comprised of the board of directors, executive board, cast, orchestra, and crew.
